A Cookie Cutter Internet

Many design firms develop a handful of website templates, or worse yet just purchase them for resale. They do this because it makes it very easy to offer turn over in only a few days with them simply plugging in your company’s information and calling the project completed. This leads to what we at NBT call a cookie cutter internet. This is a very bad thing.

Your company’s website shouldn’t look exactly the same as your competition’s, it also shouldn’t look like the website of a company in an entirely different field, but if it was left to some of these other firms it most certainly would. Your website should stand out and be as unique as the individuals who make up your staff. When a potential client visits you website they should gain a sense of who you are and what you offer. They should never be confused as to which website they visited because of how similar it was to all the others.
